Just hours after she accepted rapper Kanye West’s epic marriage proposal on her 33rd birthday, reality star Kim Kardashian’s happiness turned to anger as it was revealed she’d been betrayed by her supposedly close friend Beyonce.
When Kanye planned his engagement blowout – renting out a San Francisco baseball stadium for $230,000, complete with a 50-piece orchestra and a flawless 15-carat diamond ring valued by some at $8.3 million – he could never have predicted the backlash to come.
But now, Kanye, 36, will have to choose between Jay-Z, his long-time best friend and husband to Beyonce, and Kim, his future wife and mother to his four-month-old daughter North West. Not only that – he’s reeling after Kim deemed his diamond dazzler “too small”.
