Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling’s daughter’s name has been revealed.
The couple, who welcomed their first child together on September 12, have named her Esmerelda Amada Gosling.
According to the child’s birth certificate, which was obtained by TMZ, little Esmerelda was born at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California at 10:22 am.
Both names are of characters Eva has played in the past including Esmerelda in the TV series, “V.I.P.” and Amada in the 2007 film, “We Own the Night.”
While the couple have kept the pregnancy and birth relatively low key, sources say they are adoring their new role as parents.
“Ryan is thrilled it’s a little girl,’ a source told US Weekly last month, adding that he ‘hasn’t left Eva’s side’ since they welcomed their little girl.
The couple have called on Ryan’s family including his parents and his older sister to help out and have a nurse ‘around the clock’.
Ryan and Eva have been together since 2011.
