Could a reconciliation be on the cards for Liz Hurley and Shane Warne after the British beauty is revealed to be single just one week after Shane announced his split from Emily Scott?
Liz, 49, has reportedly parted ways with wealthy photographer, financier and friend to the royal family David Yarrow, 48, only months after they were first spotted out together in March.
TheMailreports that the former banker tycoon said of Liz at an event last week, “Yes I was on her arm for a while earlier in the year, but so what?”
“I don’t feel it helped publicise my career or my work – I prefer my work being promoted through royal connections rather than through Liz.”
Clearly thinking better of leaving things on a sour note though, David added “We remain great chums.”
Meanwhile, Liz’s former flame Shane, 45, announced via Twitter last week that he and his 30-year-old model and DJ girlfriend Emily were also going their own separate ways after only a few months together.
“Sad day as @EmilyLScott & I have gone our separate ways. We will always remain great friends & will continue to support each other”, Shane posted.
Shane and Emily had been together for three months – less than the six-month run it seems Liz and David had together. Still, neither relationship seemed to have quite the same spark that Shane and Liz had when they were together.
Liz has even admitted to still having feelings for Shane WHILE she was dating David, earlier this year.
Shane also hinted at having a slightly bruised ego after having seen the first photos of Liz with David in March. “Was just sent some pictures, wow, some people move on quickly,” he posted to Twitter, continuing: “Maybe now it’s time to take up my single friends’ suggestions & join Tinder”
So will the pair rekindle their old romance? Time will tell – but it certainly seems they’re not ready to forget one another any time soon!
