Sam Frost’s love triangle with Delta Goodrem!

The Bachelor’s jilted ex Sam Frost has her former AFL beau Ben Stratton keen to console her, but Delta Goodrem already had her sights on him!

It seems that devastated Sam Frost has turned to an old flame, Hawthorn heartthrob Benjamin Stratton, for comfort as she recovers from the shock of being ditched by her former fiance – Blake Garvey.

Sam, 25, had no idea, however, she’d soon find herself in a love triangle with Delta Goodrem, 29, who was also on his radar.

“Sam and Ben were dating on and off right up to the time she went on the show,” says a close friend of Sam’s. “They got on really well but she was always concerned he wasn’t the settling down type, so she tried her luck finding love on The Bachelor.”

Hours after the humiliating news broke that Blake, 31, had dumped Sam, however, she got a text from Ben, 25, checking she was OK and telling her he thought Blake was a fool for letting her go.

“They were texting back and forth pretty instantly,” says the mate. “It certainly made Sam feel a lot better and her time on the show made Ben realise what a good catch she was and how he now has a second chance with her.”

Even though Ben was still celebrating the AFL Grand Final win with his team around the time the news broke about Sam, he didn’t let his busy schedule get in the way of meeting her.

“He actually left one of the engagements early to see her,” reveals the friend. “He was happy about it, too, and has not stopped talking about her since.”

Meanwhile, Delta made no secret of her admiration for Ben on Grand Final night, hooking up with him during celebrations at Melbourne’s Crown complex.

“Delta and Ben were cosy and left us in no doubt they were a couple. They were all over each other,” says an AFL insider.

Another partygoer confirms Delta was having a great time, laughing and chatting by Ben’s side all evening. “They spent much of the night next to his teammate Josh Gibson and girlfriend Renee Bargh, who’s also Delta’s flatmate in LA,” reveals our exclusive source.

The sizzling public displays of affection between Delta and Ben got even steamier once they were behind closed doors.

“The other players are pretty sure the pair spent the night together,” says our source.

It seems a very in-demand Ben has some explaining to do!
