Susan Boyle: “I want to adopt a child”

Susan Boyle has revealed her dreams of one day becoming a mum and says she wants to adopt children in need.

The Britain’s Got Talent winner and international singing phenomenon has sold millions of records worldwide, but it seems that she’s still got a gaping hole in her heart that she feels the need to fill.

“I want to give a youngster what I didn’t have,” Susan, 53, told the UK’s Sunday Mail.

Unlucky in love, Susan is famous for her big heart and kind temperament, so it seems that she just wants the opportunity to bestow her love on someone else. “I have so much love to give. I want to adopt a child who doesn’t have much, who I can really give something to. It’s a way of giving back for me.”

Susan also revealed that it’s not a new thing, but something that she’s been considering for some time.

“I have been considering it for a year. I love children, I always have but I couldn’t have them. I want to give a youngster what I didn’t have,” she says

“We’ll have to see what social services say, but it would make me so happy.”

While Susan realises the odds may be against her, she remains hopeful that her dream will soon become a reality.

“I know I’m single and 50-odd. People don’t think I’m serious when I say it, they have a giggle at me. Let’s see.”

We wish the Scottish star all the best in her pursuit to start a family!
