He’s an award-winning actor with a sexy wife and six cool kids but, in 1987, Bradley Pitt was just another floppy-haired wannabe.
Finally releasing the photos, Kathy Amerman recalls exactly what the Hollywood hunk was like before he became famous.
“He was lovely,” she remembers.
“He was friendly, kind and very thoughtful. But he was definitely a lady pleaser. No question about that.
“I thought he was a very sweet person. What I remember most is he was kind and very cooperative,” she says.
“But he had strength – he believed in himself.”
Brad, then 23, had just moved to LA to begin his acting career and was sleeping on friends’ and co-stars’ couches. It would be four years before the now 50-year-old landed his first major big-screen role as the sexy cowboy in 1991’s Thelma & Louise.
“It was hard work,” Kathy says of Brad’s slow-burn success. “But he did the work.”
