James and Erica Packer either make a great divorced couple, or there’s more going on than meets the eye.
In a revealing video obtained exclusively by Woman’s Day, James Packer is spotted greeting Erica at Sydney airport with a loving hug and beaming smile.
Just over a year since their shock divorce left the couple barely on speaking terms, the Aussie billionaire couldn’t have looked more excited to see his ex-wife.
“I think there is more to it,” one insider told Woman’s Day. “They look more loving in these shots than almost any of the shots taken when they were married!”
Close friends deny any suggestion the couple are back together, but have reported that they managed to forge a “great relationship” after finalising Erica’s $100m settlement.
“The crazy thing is they do still love each other,” one friend revealed. “It’s amazing what time and distance can do for a relationship. They are a really great divorced couple!”
The relationship between James and Erica – a former model – became strained in December when news broke that James was dating Miranda Kerr – a current supermodel. But Erica was at James’s side just a few months later when they attended the funeral of a close friend in NSW.
