Amal Alamuddin officiates wedding with George Clooney

George Clooney’s highly accomplished fiancée, Amal Alamuddin has added yet another skill to her already extensive range of talents as she officiated a friend’s wedding over the weekend, with George accompanying her.

The 36-year-old human rights lawyer looked stunning as she wore a shimmery purple gown with a flower in her hair while her fiancée George, 52, looked sharp as ever in a tuxedo. They were both in Florence for the weekend to attend Amal’s cousins wedding as Amal officiated at the altar.

“Wedding registrar” is yet another skill that the multi-talented, multi-lingual Amal can add to her highly impressive portfolio of skills, along with Human Rights activist,  barrister who has represented the likes of Julian Assange and Kofi Annan and speaking fluent French, Arabic and English.

In a homage to her accomplishments, this cute photo of Amal recently emerged after it was published by Lebanese magazine Lahashowing her in her barrister’s robes and wig at her law school graduation:

No doubt the occasion of the cousin’s wedding must have helped get the smitten couple excited about their own impending nuptials which are expected to occur in September this year. It’s believed that the reason for George’s surprising and relatively hasty proposal is because the couple are already expecting a baby.
