Gabi Grecko has announced she is splitting from her beau Geoffrey Edelsten after she discovered he had been cheating on her.
The 24-year-old made the announcement this morning on Sunrise before being taken to a St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, just over an hour after her appearance.
Gabi is likely to be released shortly. The nature of her injuries is unknown.
Paul Bentley, a spokesman for Ambulance Victoria, told the Herald Sun: “We had a call to that address at about 8am this morning. A woman was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.”
Gabi, who is now planning to return to New York, told the UK’s Daily Mail it’s over after she found messsages from other woman on her 71-year-old boyfriend’s phone.
“Geoff and me are breaking up,” she said.
“I found messages from several girls calling him ‘baby’, saying, ‘I miss or love you’. I had a great and happy life before I met him and I gave it all up for love. But some guys never change even if someone loves them without limit.”
The New York DJ says the discovery was “brutal” and “really tough” after she followed him to Australia.
“I stayed by his side despite all his legal issues and tried to make him happy and less stressed,” she said. “I adjusted to his early sleeping schedule, left my cat, whom I miss dearly, behind and friends. I’m all about trust and loyalty and he refused to be those things to me.”

While she is upset by the 71-year-old’s unfaithful ways, Gabi says she will wait until Sunday to make a decision about their relationship.
“He’s begging me to stay. We may work it out but chances are slim. He wants me to stay, but at this point I’m refusing,” she said.
The shock split comes as Gabi penned a heartfelt letter to Geoffrey’s ex-wife Brynne, apologising for bullying her.
In the email she writes: “You’re not tacky. What was tacky was my words.”
It appears Gabi now feels sorry for Brynne after they both left their families behind to be with him.
