It seems Kim Kardashian has taken a page out of her rapper husband Kanye West’s book.
The 33-year-old has found herself in hot water after she gave some not-so-good advice to pregnant women while attending an event for the Kardashian Kids collection in New Jersey.
When asked her tips on pregnancy style, the reality star, who managed to keep up her fashionista status while expecting, suggested future mums ‘stay indoors’.
“I recommend hiding for a good year and having no pregnancy style,” she told Elle.
“That’s what I recommend. If you can do it, hide. Never leave the house.”
Making matters worse, when asked for a more serious response on how to best dress a baby bump, the first time mum simply replied: “That’s really my recommendation. Wear a huge blanket.”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who in the past admitted that being pregnant is not easy, has since taken to Twitter to explain herself after being publicly slammed over her comments.
“I jokingly said pregnant woman should hide/stay in if they looked like I did lol. I said ask Kourt her tips bc she has the best preg style,” she tweeted.
“I really should start video taping the interviews I do & post on my website so u can see the laughs & how it’s really said.”

While at the event with sisters Kourtney and Khloe, Kim also spoke about her daughter North West’s sense of style.
“North doesn’t really like pink. Like, she’s very neutral—she doesn’t like prints,” Kim revealed.
“She hasn’t liked it for her whole life.”
But Aunt Kourt was quick to jump to her one-year-old nieces defence saying she gets it all from her parents.
“Kim and Kanye don’t like pink or prints,” she said.
