Star couple Tim Campbell and Anthony Callea have excitedly announced that they are tying the knot!
Together for seven years, the pair had told their family and friends that marriage wasn’t on the cards, but surprised everyone by announcing they are getting married!
“I thought, ‘Actually, I do want to marry you – but I don’t want to get down on one knee!’” an ecstatic Tim, 38, told Woman’s Day exclusively.
While many make plans towards the perfect proposal, Tim and Anthony decided to tie the knot while sharing some wine during a quiet night at home.
“We’re the most non-traditional couple,” says Tim.
“I wish I had a romantic story about it all on the Sydney Harbour Bridge or something.”
But Anthony says the happy pair chatted about it together on a quiet night in.
“We were sitting on the couch and I was on my second scotch and Tim was on his first white wine and we made the decision there and then,” Anthony said.
“I’m sure I had my ugg boots on,” laughs Tim.

Needless to say the pair popped a bottle of bubbly soon after to celebrate their exciting news, and started dreaming up their perfect wedding!
“I totally fell in love with his beautiful spirit,” tells Anthony. “And I fell in love with someone with a massive heart,” says Tim.
The pair plan to wed in an intimate ceremony which will be held in New Zealand, where same-sex marriage is recognised.
“It will be intimate but exciting and a lot of fun,” says Anthony, who is busy preparing for his Ladies & Gentlemen, The Songs of George Michael national tour. “We don’t put boring parties together.”
To add to the excitement, Anthony is celebrating the fact that his new live DVD is number one on the ARIA DVD charts!
