Lily-Rose Depp has landed her first big movie role, starring alongside her Dad Johnny Depp in a new movie by Kevin Smith.
Johnny Depp, 51, who this year confirmed his engagement to actress Amber Heard, 28, clearly has no qualms about his daughter stepping into the cut-throat world of show-business at the young age of just 15.
In fact, Lily-Rose has been cast in the lead role of the new film, titled The Yoga Hosers, with Dad Johnny reportedly just making a brief appearance in a supporting role.
Lily-Rose is not the only celebrity spawn to land a starring role in the film though, with director Kevin Smith, also casting his own daughter Harley Quinn Smith, also aged 15, to play the co-lead.
Apparently in Hollywood it’s not what you know – it’s who your parents are!
Both Lily-Rose and Harley are apparently also good friends in real life and have previously had a brief cameo in another Kevin Smith film – Tusk, playing teenage convenience store workers. The new film, The Yoga Hosers is apparently a spin-off of the same characters, who still play teen convenience store workers, but with an enthusiasm for Yoga.

Kevin Smith, who is best known for his mute acting role as Silent Bob in the Jay and Silent Bob films such as Clerks and Dogma, said: “our antiheroes are the most feared and formidable creatures man has ever encountered: two 15-year-old girls.”
Lily-Rose is apparently quite close to Johnny’s fiancé Amber Heard – which has caused a further rift with Johnny’s ex and Lily-Rose’s mother Vanessa Paradis. Lily-Rose is the eldest of Johnny’s two children with French actress and model Vanessa – her younger brother Jack is aged 12.
The Yoga Hosers begins filming this week and is expected to be released in mid-2015.
