George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are tying the knot the traditional way with the bride’s parents footing the bill.
An insider has reportedly told Us Weekly that the A-List actor isn’t throwing down the big bucks when it comes to the couple’s Venice nuptials.
“Crazy enough, her family is paying for most of it,” the source revealed.
The British attorney’s parents, Ramzi and Baria Alamuddin, are said to have been very anxious about the marriage hoopla but were “old-fashioned when it comes to these things,” added the spy.
But while George, 53, isn’t going to get his cheque book out, he’s not going to the party empty handed.
The groom-to-be is part owner of Casamigos Tequila and his business partner and good friend, Rande Gerber was photographed loading 100 cases of the brand’s prized Blanco, Reposado and Añejo tequila onto a private jet headed to Italy.
The expected lavish affair is expected to take place Sept 27.
