They may have consciously uncoupled months ago, but Gwyneth Paltrow still has a hold on her former husband Chris Martin.
The 41-year-old actress has put together a timetable to ensure he spends equal amounts of time with his family and his new girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence.
“She’s drawn up a rota to balance his time living life as a bachelor and seeing Jennifer with honouring their many family commitments,” a source told Grazia UK.
“Gwyneth still has a lot of control over him, which isn’t exactly desirable to prospective girlfriends.
“The way things are are the moment, no sane person would want to be an accessory to their conscious uncoupling.”
The source says Chris feels “torn” about the fact that his ex-wife has so much power over him as she continues to be “uncompromising with the amount of time she expects him to spend with their family”.

It seems Jennifer hasn’t been deterred, despite Gwyneth’s rota, and recently travelled to Las Vegas to watch Chris and his band at the iHeart Festival last weekend.
While the new pair are yet to confirm their romance, the couple were pictured backstage together (above) and boarding a private jet back to Los Angeles.
