Keith Urban has been a constant rock and a shoulder to cry on for his distressed wife Nicole Kidman following the sudden death of her father, Dr Antony Kidman.
In fact, the country crooner has promised to move heaven and earth to help the mother of his two children find peace during this difficult time.
As a distraught Nicole, 47, said her final goodbye to her father, who passed away at the age of 75 from a suspected heart attack in Sydney last week, she was supported by her devoted husband, who has been there every step of the way.
The 46-year-old singer has been the glue that’s keeping the family whole family together during this deeply painful time and is willing to do whatever it takes to help his family get through it.
Woman’s Day hears that Keith has been telling friends that he’s prepared to abandon a planned tour next year as he vows to support the Oscar-winning actress and their daughters Sunday, 7, and Faith, 3.
“The death of Nic’s dad has brought them closer together,” a friend close to the family said.
“It’s made them realise things have to change. Nic’s been inconsolable and Keith has been there for her all the way, for the first time in years.
“Nic can see he’s the man she always though he was when she married him,” says our source.
