New Girl star Zooey Deschanel has announced her engagement – only one week after announcing her pregnancy.
The 34-year-old ‘s rep confirmed that Zooey’s beau Jacob Pechenik, 42 popped the question and that the couple are now engaged.
The news comes one week after the actress announced she was expecting her first child with Jacob.
“Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one,” Zooey told People.
Zooey and Jacob, who have been dating less than a year, got together in mid 2014 after she divorced Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard back in 2012.
The couple’s pregnancy news came just over a month after her sister and Bones star Emily Deschanel confirmed she was expecting her second child.
Zooey is yet to reveal how far along she is, but we can’t wait to see her red carpet maternity style!
