Hugh Grant has just fulfilled chat show host, Andy Cohen’s lifelong fantasy – to be one of Hugh’s leading ladies!
The British actor appeared on Andy Cohen’s show, Watch What Happens Live! where he was roped into recreating one of his most famous scenes with the TV personality.
Hugh stepped into his role as William Thacker from his hit romantic comedyNotting Hilland Andy got to play Julia Robert’s character Anna Scott.
The TV host chose to re-enact the scene where Julia’s character professes her love to Hugh- and he did! With gusto, a wig and cardigan to boot!
Hugh, always the professional, managed to make it throughout the scene without laughing once!
Not even Andy whispering to Hugh, “Don’t forget – I’m just a girl. Standing in front of a boy. Asking him to love her” could break the actor!
The Hollywood heartthrob also opened up about his past relationship with Elizabeth Hurley.
Hugh was surprisingly candid as to why they are no longer involved, romantically.
“It didn’t work out. She’s still my best friend. The sex bit probably fizzled out, but now she’s my absolute best friend,” he said.
“[She’s] the number one person I call in a crisis.”
It looks like Hugh is still a heartthrob on and off the screen!
