Meet Keith Urban’s Dad! The Aussie singer has shared a rare photo of himself with his dad.
Posting the snap on his Facebook page, the country crooner shared a black and white snap of him with his dad, Bob Urban, to his 5 million followers.
“Being a Dad gives me a WHOLE new love and appreciation for my Dad – and everything he’s done for me. – KU #withdad” he captioned the image.
Keith is very close to his dad and even penned a song for his back in 2009 called Song for Dad.
Keith is of course a doting dad to his two daughters who he shares with wife Nicole Kidman, Faith Margaret and Sunday Rose.
““I love it, I love being a dad. They’re very different. Sunny’s very outgoing, a live wire, full of energy, and Faith’s considerable quiet, and that happens some times, just total difference in personality,” he has previously said of being a dad to his daughters.
The 47-year-old and his family recently suffered the heartbreaking loss of Nicole’s dad, Antony Kidman, who died suddenly of a suspected heart attack in September.
“The loss of Nic’s dad was just huge, I can’t even describe what the moment was like for our family,” he said last month.
“I was very, very close to Nic’s dad, You lose a family member and you’re reminded of the brevity of life. …I don’t want to miss any of it,…I don’t want to miss any time with Nic or our family.”
