Being married to George Clooney would certainly have it perks- including hanging out with Hollywood’s finest. For Amal, she has found a friend in Cindy Crawford.
Cindy’s husband, Rande Gerber is George’s close friend and business partner. Talking tothe Evening Standard’s Deluxemagazine, he revealed how their spouses have hit it off!
“They are very compatible. Both strong, intelligent, committed women.” Rande said.
The two couples get along so well that they decided to build their holiday houses on the same estate in Mexico!
“Originally we were going to build just one big house for us,” Rande explained.
“But George was single at the time and we have the family, and Cindy said “Hmm. I don’t think that’s such a good idea. Let’s build two houses”. It’s all still on one property, so it’s like breakfast at George’s place, lunch at mine. It feels like one big party.”
Rande and Cindy are parents to their 15-year-old son Presley and 13-year-old daughter Kaia, but the businessman is uncertain whether parenthood is for George.
Explaining that he thinks George would make a “great dad”, he did add: “I don’t know if he’s going to be or not.”
Together George and Rande own a tequila company Casamigos, which came in handy for George’s wedding.
The Venice-based celebrations were one long fun-filled affair.
“It was a big party for three days straight. We flew 100 cases of tequila in and we drank all of it.” Rande said.
The best-man at George’s wedding revealed how impressed he is with how Amal is adjusting to life in spotlight.
“George and Amal knew what they were getting into,” he said.
“Such a big event in George’s life is always going to get a lot of attention. You try to not let it affect your life as much as you can control it. But do you go out as much to public events? No, you don’t. You try to stay a little bit low-key until it blows over. But they are dealing with it brilliantly
