New reports claim One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth have decided upon a unique title for their child.
According to British newspaper The Sun the duo’s newborn bub, who was born in LA on Friday, has reportedly been given the moniker Sydney Rain.
“Louis and Briana are yet to file a birth certificate but they’ve agreed on the name Sydney Rain. It will be rubber-stamped in the next five day,” an insider claimed to the publication.
If the report is indeed true, Sydney Rain follows a long line of celeb offspring rocking unusual names.
“It’s not yet known whether the baby boy will take Briana’s surname or Tomlinson,” the source added.
The exact origin and meaning behind Sydney Rain is not yet known, however it could have been inspired by Louis' many trips to Australia's Harbour City with One Direction.
On Saturday the 24-year-old confirmed fevered speculation he and stylist Briana, who are not together, had welcomed a son.
“I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I'm very happy!!,” He penned via Twitter.
Before cheekily adding: “Daddy daddy cool.”
Clearly ecstatic with the exciting arrival, the boy band member then added a slew of smiley faces.
In August last year the Little Things hitmaker addressed impending fatherhood during an interview on Good Morning America.
“Obviously it’s a very exciting time, so I’m buzzing, thank you,” he said.
