For starters, while many 16-month-olds are still years away from getting their ears pierced, North is seen wearing these enormous diamond studs wherever she goes.
The earrings are apparently by jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz and are worth a pretty penny at over $57,000! Yep, that’s more than a new car!
North is apparently besties with cousin Penelope, the 2-year-old daughter of her auntie Kourtney – probably one of the only other babies who is already accustomed to a life of excess at such a young age.

Kim and Kanye reportedly only like to dress North in black: the ultimate fashion power colour. On a recent shopping trip to Fred Segal in LA, Kimye apparently knocked back outfits for not fitting with Nori’s signature “look”. A staff member said: “They said North has a very particular style, and right now they’re only dressing her in black.”
Even her image-obsessed auntie Kylie Jenner, 17, looks to North for fash-piration. She told Us Weekly “I look up to North!She dresses so dope.”
At her parents wedding, North had her own custom Givenchy dress designed especially for her by Riccardo Tisci out of the same lace that mum Kim’s bridal gown was made of.
Little Nori, as she is affectionately known by her parents, gets sent an endless array of custom-made designer gifts from some of the best known designers in the world. Pictured are shots that Kim has shared to Instagram of custom Lanvin and Stella McCartney baby-wear. “Kim and Kanye are grateful when designers send them some pieces,” a source close to Kim told Us Weekly. “North loves clothes and getting ready to go out. It’s a lot of fun.”
North’s wardrobe is so huge already that her parents have built in a customised walk-in wardrobe just for her in the $20 million, 15,667-square-foot, Hollywood mansion they splurged on recently – pictured here earlier this year undergoing extravagant rebuilding and renovations.
When Kim posted a thank-you snap to Instagram of the customised leopard print dress sent to her by designer Roberto Cavalli, commenters were quick to note that North doesn’t DO print!

When the Kardashians took over Paris for Fashion Week recently, a source told Us Weekly that: “North and a nanny had their own penthouse suite that was adjoined to Kim and Kanye’s room.” This was at the Le Royal Monceau hotel, where suites cost up to $36,000 a night.
As to keeping the tot safe, the source said: “Kim and Kanye had six guys on their security team. Security for Nori alone cost about $40,000 for their time in Paris.”

North famously attended her first fashion shows while in Paris, sitting front row at fashion week, but apparently Kanye would have preferred her to stay at the hotel, away from the manic hordes of paparazzi. But then: “she started to cry when we were walking out the door, and we couldn’t leave her,” Kim told Yahoo Style. So instead North got one of the most coveted tickets in the fashion world – front row at Balenciaga (wearing all-black again of course!).
“It was an amazing fashion show for her to be at for her first,” Kim gushed.
When Givenchy heard that the young fashionista would be attending their show, they sent over a series of custom-designed outfits for her to choose from – including this black sheer lace number that she ended up wearing. An insider told Us Weekly: “but there are five other outfits she didn’t end up wearing and she still got to keep them!”
As to what the youngster (seen here dining with Vogue editor Anna Wintour) eats, the same source says: “Kim likes Nori’s food to be all organic…They use a local caterer to bring in food for North while she is in Paris.”
When they travel, the source says “All of North’s stuff is always waiting at the location they’re traveling to.” Her parents apparently ensure that North’s all-white nursery is duplicated wherever they go including her $4,350 Lucite crib and $1,080 Orbit Baby G2 Travel System.
Is little Nori still living a normal life though? Well she may have every lavish excess in the world, but Kimye are apparently still determined that she she have a regular routine: “Every night Kim puts her down to bed,” the source told Us Weekly. “They play in the bath with toys, then read books and go to sleep.”
It seems like Kim is just determined to give her little Princess everything she could ever need. Kim says: “Motherhood has changed me for the better, in more ways than I ever could have imagined.”
As per this photo that Kim shared to her Instagram recently of North next to a photo of herself at the same age, it seems that the youngster is only following in her mum’s footsteps afterall!
