Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have both been pictured arriving in Sydney, Australia ahead of the premiere of Ange’s new film “Unbroken” in Sydney tonight.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have both hit Sydney, Australia, for the premiere of Ange’s new film Unbroken in Sydney. The pair spent a long time at the event greeting fans and posing for selfies.

Angelina also gave a warm hug to fellow breast cancer victim Krystal Barter, who attended the premiere thanks to the Pink Hope Foundation. Krystal is BCRA1 positive, which means that she was at high rick of developing the diseases and so had a preventative mastectomy just like Angelina.

Angelina, 39, spent time down under, along with her children in late 2013 and early 2014 filming the epic World War II era biopic and has revealed how she and her family fell in love with the location.

“The kids really did love it there,” Angelina told The Daily Telegraph.” It’s such a wonderfully family-oriented country, so there was just so much for them to do. Shiloh and Pax, especially, are now serious surfers and skateboarders. They didn’t do that before and now they surf and skateboard all the time.”

Angelina also revealed how she, Brad, 50, and their six kids Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8 and Vivienne and Knox, 6, enjoyed a true-blue Aussie Christmas as they spent the holiday season downunder – and it sounds like Brad really got into the local spirit!

“We had an Australian Christmas. We had rented a place and we were just hanging out. It was the first time we had a BBQ for Christmas. Brad got on the barbie and worked it pretty well, I thought!”

Of her decision to shoot the film on Australian soil, Angelina said: “The US shares this history with Australia. We are connected in this particular moment in history, in such a strong way, so it was really special to be there. It felt right to be in Australia.”

Unbroken charts the story of the American Olympian Louis Zamperini who became a World War II hero. His incredible life story is one of endurance as he survived two years in a Japanese POW camp after enduring 47 days afloat in a life raft in the Pacific Ocean after surviving a plane crash.

Angelina was pictured at her hotel room looking rather tired after the long-haul flight downunder, keeping it casual in a grey t-shirt. Her hubby Brad was also pictured arriving in the harbourside city late last night via a private jet.

Louis, the real-life hero of the film, passed away in July this year but Angelina stayed close to him until the end “I took my laptop into his hospital room, and he was able to watch it,” she told the Daily Telegraph. “I’m glad I was able to do that.”

The film is Ange’s second directorial effort, with her third, in which she also stars alongside her husband Brad, already underway too. The pair even spent their Honeymooon filming in the Mediterranean island of Gozo in Malta for their upcoming movie, By the Sea.
