Chris, 31, is the Aussie golden boy of show business right now, having only recently been named one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood by Forbes on their Hollywood rich list in July.
The husband to Spanish model Elsa Pataky, and dad to India, Sasha and Tristan has certainly come along way from his days in Home and Away!
It was Chris’ role in Thor that really skyrocketed him to international super-stardom, seeing him rake in the big bucks and also garnering female attention from all over the world, as the movie allowed him to show off his svelte physique.
So will the down-to-earth Dad be staying modest over his latest sexy title? “I think you’ve bought me a couple of weeks of bragging rights around the house,” the actor toldPeople.
On what he’d say to wife Elsa, he said: “I can just say to her, ‘Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don’t need to do the dishes anymore, I don’t need to change nappies. I’m above that. I’ve made it now.’ “
As for THAT super-toned bod that helped him earn the title Chris says that he tries to stay disciple with diet and exercise when he needs to for a role, but that afterwards: “Then it’s pizza, hamburgers, beer, sugary things. Everything I’m not allowed to have!”
