Their Royal Highnesses marked the special occasion with an official visit to RAF Lossiemouth in Moray on Thursday.

The adorable couple, who married back in 1947 in a glorious ceremony at Westminster Abbey, were greeted with a flypast as they arrived at the base.

Looking lovely in lavender, the Queen was also presented with a bouquet of flowers by an adorable eight-year-old on the day.
