Partaking in the favourite local past-time, the Duke and Duchess attended an NBA game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
The royal couple were taken by surprise though when they were featured on the big screen at the game. William noticed first, pointing it out to Catherine who giggled and gave the camera a wave!
Prince William looked rather casual by royal standards wearing an open-collar plaid shirt and jeans, while Duchess Catherine looked as immaculate as ever in a glamorous wool coat by US designer Tory Burch, which carefully hid her growing baby bump. Kate teamed this with black skinny-leg jeans and her favourite black pumps.
The game follows an eventful day for the couple in their whirlwind tour of the States, as Prince William met with President Obama at the White House while Duchess Catherine met with children in Harlem.
Prior to the game, William and Catherine met Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea at a reception celebrating the combined work of their Chelsea foundation and William and Catherine’s Royal foundation.
Tomorrow, the couple will host a 600th anniversary dinner for St Andrews University – the place where they met and fell in love. It will be held at the famous at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and amongst the guests will be Tom Hanks, whose daughter attended and graduated from the university in 2004.

The couple met with NBA Global Ambassador Dikembe Mutombo and NBA commissioner Adam Silver prior to the game. Catherine joked to the seven foot two inch Mutombo “At last someone who is taller than me!”
