After revealing to Woman’s Day that she was “quitting Sydney”, it looks like Lara Bingle is looking for a new home.
The 26-year-old model recently put her one-bedroom Darling Point apartment on the market which will go to auction on June 14.
The apartment, which she purchased following her break-up with Michael Clarke in 2010, boasts spectacular harbour views and was picked up by the model for $882,000.
Lara, who is currently in the Los Angeles launching the new Cotton On line, was rumoured to have inspected a $3 million property in Point Piper, but it appears she will now spend most of her time in New York with her actor boyfriend Sam Worthington, 37.
In January, Lara revealed she was fed up with her lack of privacy in Australia.
“Sydney’s my home but I don’t like it,” she confided exclusively to aWoman’s Dayphotographer. “I can’t even go to the supermarket without getting papped [snapped by paparazzi]. I don’t like the attention.”
Her Aussie boyfriend of nine months agrees.
“Sam hates it! We don’t get any peace,” Lara said.
Lara revealed that the pair seem to get papped “everywhere they go”, so we aren’t sure if her new digs will deter paparazzi attention.
