Prince William and Prince Charles attended an event for the Royal British Sub-Aqua Club yesterday where Prince Charles handed down his 40 year Presidency to his son Prince William.
The event was held at a swimming pool near Covent Garden in Central London and the Prince William helped mark the occasion with a demonstration of his scuba diving and snorkelling skills.
Before William goes for his dive though, both Royals are formerly introduced at a presentation by club chairman Eugene Farrell who surprisingly referred to a young Prince Charles as being rather “buff” after the office staff had peered at pictures of the Prince showing off his swimming skills when he was younger.

Watch the cute video to see Prince Charles’ rather baffled reaction to this description which he doesn’t understand before he is given a nudge from his laughing son William who explains that it’s a good thing!
When Charles takes to the stage to give his presentation, he then refers to how his own son William will demonstrate his own “buff credentials” by taking to the pool. This results in a hilarious face palm.

When it’s William’s turn to thank the Club, he speaks about how he hopes one day his own son, Prince George will take an interest in swimming and diving too, but that doesn’t look set to happen just yet, as William says “at the moment, bath-time is quite painful”.
