Auditions for the ninth season of the show kicked off yesterday but the former Miss Universe told Sydney Confidential that “it feels like a different show” without Charlotte Dawson, who tragically took her own life earlier this year, at the age of just 47.
Tributes poured in for the TV presenter and model earlier this year as the nation was shocked by her sudden death.

As to who will now be joining her fellow judges on the show? “She is irreplaceable so guest judges will be coming in,” Hawkins told Confidential.

So it was that just the three judges: Alex Perry, Didier Cohen and Jen Hawkins took to the stage in Newcastle yesterday to kick of season nine of Fox8’s Australia’s Next Top Model.
Auditions will continue this weekend at Chatswood Chase and Westpoint Blacktown in Sydney for those that want to get involved.
