Hugh emerged with the distinctive look a few months back when he debuted his new bald head on Instagram which accompanied the curly beard and moustache to complete his piratey appearance. The new look was in aid of Hugh’s role in Pan – the latest adaption of the classic fairytale Peter Pan Pan which he was starring in alongside Amanda Seyfried and Rooney Mara.
After several months of filming though and a summer spent posting Instagram snaps of his semi-hirsute appearance, Hugh has posted a video of himself getting his beard shaved off and returning to his bare-chinned appearance.
At the moment, Hugh’s still got a bare-head top but no doubt he’ll soon hark back to the hairier Wolverine look that he’s known for!

Hugh Jackman showed off his newly-shaved look on the streets of New York this week with wife Deborra-Lee Furness by his side. The doting couple looked super-cute as they held hands and showed their affection for one another.
Before Hugh got the hair shaved from the top of his head back in June, he looked rather hirsute at the Tony awards with wife Deborra-lee Furness.
When Hugh first underwent the trim to complete his Blackbeard look, he posted this selfie to Instagram.
Not long before he gave his beard the shave, Hugh gave the beard a selfie-toast.
A pirate rival perhaps?
