The Royals Down Under: Where you can see them!

With the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge about to embark on their first royal tour of Australia together, monarch mania is well and truly ramping up.

So, if you’re a keen royalist or just looking to catch a glimpse of William, Catherine and of course, adorable Prince George, here are the best spots to be.

Shortly after landing in Sydney, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit Sydney’s most famous landmark, the Sydney Opera House, for a right royal reception.

This will be the first opportunity Sydneysiders will have to say g’day, and to see the royal couple in the flesh, before they start their 10-day Aussie adventure.

With huge crowds expected at tomorrow’s history-making event, spectators are advised to catch public transport to avoid delays and should not arrive at the venue any earlier than midday.

Woman’s Day understands there is limited viewing space and once the area reaches capacity, the site will be closed.

If you miss out on seeing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this time around, don’t worry. The pair will be out and about again on Thursday, touring the blue-hazed beauty of the Blue Mountains and speaking with local families affected by last year’s devastating bushfires.

On Friday, if you’re headed to the Sydney Royal Easter show, prepare to battle big crowds. William and Catherine will attend the annual event and from there, will head toManly’siconic beach andvisit a children’s hospice.

Then on Saturday, it’s off to the Sunshine State, Queensland.

The Duke and Duchess are set to fly to Brisbane and spend time at the RAAF Base, before attending a formal reception hosted by the Governor and The Premier of Queensland.

On Easter Sunday, the young royals will be back in Sydney to attend a church service at St Andrew’s Cathedral.They will then head to Taronga Zoo to open the bilby enclosure that will be named after their son, Prince George.

From there, it’s on to the Australian capital, Canberra, where the family will spend Monday resting, ahead of their journey to Uluru in the Northern Territory on Tuesday.

A week on from their arrival in Australia, South Australia will finally get its turn.

William and Catherine will make a quick dash to Adelaide on Wednesday, to check out a music workshop and watch a skateboarding display.

Their Royal Highnesses will then fly back to Canberra, to attend a tree-planting ceremony and stop in at the National Portrait Gallery.

On the final day of their epic royal tour, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will lay a wreath at the ANZAC March and Commemorative Service at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, before saying one last hooroo to Australia.

Wednesday, April 16 The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend their official welcome to Australia at the Sydney Opera House.

Thursday, April 17 They will travel to the Blue Mountains to meet with families affected by the recent bushfires.

Friday, April 18 William and Catherine will make a short appearance at the Royal Easter Show before visiting Manly beach and Bear Cottage.

Saturday, April, 19 The pair will jet off to Queensland to check out the RAAF base, before heading to a formal reception.

Sunday, April 20 The Duke and Duchess will attend an Easter Sunday service at St Andrew’s Cathedral in Sydney then visit Taronga Zoo where we are hoping to see Prince George again, for the first time since his arrival. The family will then fly to Canberra.

Monday, April 21 The royals will kick off their shoes on their only day off.

Tuesday, April, 22 Their Royal Highnesses will journey to the Outback to visit Uluru in Australia’s Northern Territory.

Wednesday, April 23 They will arrive in Adelaide ahead of a private reception held by the Governor of South Australia.

Thursday, April 24 The Duke and Duchess will be back in Australia’s capital, Canberra, for a tree-planting ceremony followed by a greeting at Parliament House and a quick visit to the National Portrait Gallery.

Friday, April 25 They will attend an ANZAC Day March and Commemorative Service at the Australian War Memorial before saying a final farewell to Australia.
