Kelsey Grammer: “Duchess Camilla grabbed me on the bum!”

Former Frasier star Kelsey Grammar reveals the cheeky moment he had with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall when the pair were at the White House.

Speaking at the “Spectator Cigar Awards” in London, Kelsey had a dig at the the event’s host, Camilla’s son Tom Parker-Bowles, 39.

Kelsey, 59, recounted the story of his visit to the White House in 2005 when then-President George W. Bush and his wife Laura hosted a dinner for the visiting royal couple.

“I don’t want to embarrass our lovely host, Mr Parker Bowles,” Kelsey said, to great laughter from the crowd. “Years ago I had a chance to meet his mum.”

“I met Camilla at the White House about a decade ago and as I was taking a picture I felt a tight little squeeze on my right buttock. I turned and a woman, in a very wistful, little impish way, said to me: ‘So nice to finally meet you in the flesh.”

Grammer was honoured with runner-up to Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was also in attendance as he was named “Cigar smoker of the year” at the awards.

Camilla’s son Tom Parker-Bowles gave a passionate speech about his love of cigars as introduced the evening.

“We’re here to celebrate the greatest thing that could happen to a humble leaf,” he told the crowd.

No mention of his mother’s bottom pinching though!
