Prince William reportedly told Kate her yellow Roksanda Ilincic dress made her look like a “banana” – now the Duchess has got her own back.
As the couple were touring the displays at the Royal Easter Show this morning, Kate seized the opportunity to tease her husband about his famously thinning hair, joking that he could use some of the alpaca fleece they were inspecting to make a toupee.
“The princess said (the Duke) should put some on his head,” said Lyn Cregan, 67, from Glen Innes.
“She pointed at him and said ‘You need it more than me.’ He laughed.”
William and Kate spent more than an hour at the show before travelling to Bear Cottage children’s hospice in Manly.
Later today they will visit Manly Beach.
