In news that will devastate romantically minded royal watchers, Prince Harry has reportedly broken up with his girlfriend Cressida Bonas.
A source close to the 29-year-old prince told US magazine People that things weren’t going well for the young couple and so he called an end to their two-year-old relationship.
“He found her too needy and it just wasn’t working out,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, other reports say the breakup was “amicable” and that the pair is just taking a “breather”.
The split comes just one month after the couple, who met through Princess Eugenie, were spotted at their first official engagement together, sparking rumours that Harry would soon pop the question.
In September last year, reports also suggested that Cressida, 25, was undergoing secret royal training ahead of their engagement.
