Prince Harry: ‘I’m old but I feel young at heart’

He is about to turn the big 3-0, but party-going Prince Harry has no plans of slowing down just yet.

While attending a curtain-raiser for the Invictus Games at Jaguar Land Rover in Gaydon, Warwickshire recently, the cheeky Prince said while he’s slowly starting to feel old he will always be young at heart.

The fourth in line to the throne, soon to be fifth now there’s another royal baby on the way, joked about the upcoming milestone birthday and compared it to seeing a 30km/h speed limit sign, saying it made him think: “I’m actually quite old.

“I don’t feel too old, I think I am always young at heart.”

Harry, who is known to love a good laugh, also admitted to noticing a few signs of ageing, including sleepless nights in the lead up to the Paralympic-style sports event for wounded servicemen and women from across the globe, in which he champions.

His Royal Highness also said he is at a point in his life where he can make a real difference in the world.

“I’m at the stage of my life now where over the last couple of years I have realised what a difference it can make, and using the position to do good – something I have tried to do for many years of my life, but this is a classic example,” he said.

Harry’s big birthday bash falls on the day after his Invictus Games wraps up.

And if successful, we could see the red-headed royal mark his the milestone with a double celebration.
