The Bachelor Australia contestant Leah on being rejected by Matty

It’s clear this season’s resident villain has no shame.
Leah from The Bachelor Australia

Was it just us, or did Leah get more air time than Matty J on The Bachelor Australia tonight?

Well, one thing we do know is that the 24-year-old from Victoria certainly didn’t waste any time during her one-on-one photo shoot with Matty J, shocking everyone when she tried to plant one right on Matty J’s lips – only to be rejected.

But that hasn’t stopped Leah from bragging about it.

In fact, during a recent chat with TV WEEK, the Architecture student says she doesn’t regret it at all.

“Yeah, I kind of take everything as a little bit of fun,” she laughs. “I knew the other girls were watching so I thought oh well, let’s do it!”

Of her connection with Matty J, Leah is adamant the pair have chemistry.

“There was definitely chemistry,” she says matter-of-factly.

Leah is sure that her and Matty have chemistry.

“I know that if I had tried a little bit later I reckon we would have [kissed], but my timing was terrible.”

While Matty J was quick to put Leah in her place, telling her he felt it was an inappropriate move, Leah isn’t fazed.

“Honestly, I laughed it off. Not for one second did I go, ‘You know, I shouldn’t have done that’. That’s just me, so whatever. I kind of roll with the punches, I don’t care too much.”

Meanwhile, rumours are rife that Lisa is a frontrunner to win Matty J’s heart after the blonde beauty scored herself a single date.

However, Leah has her doubts.

“I think everyone wanted us to think Matty was really into Lisa but I wasn’t buying that,” Leah says.

“She bored the s*** out of me and I know Matty will get sick of her.”

Model Lisa seemed to capture Matty’s attention from the moment they met.
