Ricky Martin arrives ahead of The Voice

The latest recruit on The Voice, Latino super star Ricky Martin has hit our shores, touching down in Sydney this morning.

Geared up to join the popular show’s coaching panel, Ricky made a low-key entrance into Sydney without his partner, Carlos Gonzales, or twin sons Matteo and Valentino.

Ricky was selected for the show after original coach Keith Urban quit to take up a judging role on American Idol.

The award winning singer will now spend some time with his fellow mentors Seal, Delta Goodrem and Joel Madden. The foursome will work on some pre-recording promotional material over the next few days at Fox Studios and will take this opportunity to get to know one another.

All four coaches are said to be in Sydney for the next two weeks.

The Voice, which is set to air in the first half of this year, will begin shooting blind auditions next Thursday.
