“I’m so shocked,” Dee said after the auctions. “The first two auctions were amazing.”

“We’re devastated,” Dee told Kyle and Jackie O on their breakfast radio show this morning. “It was a completely unexpected result for all of us.”

Michael and Carlene looked confused as they looked on at their auction, which saw them pocket just $10,000 after the hammer fell at $1.39m

Although the pair were obviously disappointed with the outcome, they did look on the bright side, with Michael saying: “It was definitely a worthwhile experience… even if we knew we were going to come out of it with $10k, we still would have done it”.

For the boys, it was a bittersweet win as they clearly felt terrible for their fellow competitors.

We raise a toast to them nonetheless in congratulations for all their hard work paying off!
