The pair’s break was well-earned after all their hard work but it came before the show’s shock finale which left the pair speechless, and host Shelley Craft in tears.

As brothers Shannon and Simon came out on top with profits of $335,000, Dee and Darren, along with Maxine and Karstan, were left bitterly disappointed as they took home only $10,000 each after all their months of hard work.
On their holiday prior to the finale, the pair and their children kicked back in Noosa –a popular playground for the rich and famous – and splashed out $650 a night on a room at the exclusive waterfront Seahaven Noosa Resort, overlooking beautiful Laguna Bay.

Deanne, 42, has earned a reputation for enjoying the finer things in life, so she relished the opportunity to soak up the sun and spend quality time with her girls.
Darren meanwhile, looked like he was having a ball on the paddleboard!
