Home And Away actress Demi Harman has confirmed she’s leaving the Bay!

The brunette stunner, who plays Sasha Bezmel on the popular soap, revealed she’s walking away from the Channel Seven drama to try her luck in Hollywood!

Unfortunately for fans, this means the closing of a beautiful chapter between Sasha and her on-screen and real-life partner Alec Snow, aka Matt Page. (We’re devastated!)

The 21-year-old, who arrived in Summer Bay over three years ago as a sassy, angry and stubborn teenager, admitted she was in tears shooting her final scenes.

“Leading up to finishing was so traumatic, it was so scary,” she told Sydney Confidential.

“Letting go of something you have known and loved for three-and-a-half years was traumatic. I was crying the whole time.”

Of leaving her beau behind, Demi said “Of course I will miss working with Alec, but at the same time, nothing is really going to change too much, other than not working so closely together.

“It has been an amazing miracle after working so closely together for over a year, our

characters told each other they loved each other before we did in real life. It has been pretty intense that way, but now absence makes the heart grow fonder.”

News of Demi’s departure comes just months after fellow Summer Bay hotties, Lincoln Younes and Dan Ewing exited the show.

“I will forever be grateful, it doesn’t matter where I go or what I do, I definitely will always have such respect and such an appreciation for what Home And Away has taught me and where it has got me in what I want to do,” Demi said.
