Torah Bright bows out of Dancing with the Stars

Torah Bright has been forced out of Dancing with the Stars because of an injured toe.

Looking teary eyed as she made the announcement, the 27-year-old winter Olympian said she had sustained the injury to her toe during weekly rehearsals after attempting a lift.

“I cant walk so I cant dance,” Torah said. “This is not the way I saw my dancing journey.”

Becasue Torah was unable to perform, she was unable to be scored by the judges and therefore eliminated from the competition.

She is the second star to leave the competition after Kyly Clarke left following a pulled hamstring injury.

Torah and her partner Robbie Kmetoni  have surprised audiences with their compelling dance routines often reaching high scores of 35 out 0f 40.

Torah, who will now focus on recovering before preparing for the Winter Olympics, said she joined the competition to learn how to dance and has had an “incredible journey”.

“It doesn’t matter what style I dance, I am totally out of my comfort zone and having to put on a different hat because I am a reserved person in nature,” the Australian gold medallist recently told The Daily Telegraph.

“I am a total home body. I have my moments that I break out of my shell, usually dancing late at night.”
