Lincoln Younes quits Summer Bay for Love Child

Grab the tissues girls because there’s another Home and Away hottie leaving Summer Bay.

Lincoln Younes has quit his role as Casey Braxton after three years on the long-running and iconic Aussie drama.

The 22-year-old, who joined the show as one of three river boys alongside Steve Peacock and Dan Ewing in 2011, has already finished filming his final scenes and will bow out later this year.

While Channel Seven is yet to announce Lincoln’s departure from the show, there’s no doubt the news will leave fans across the country broken-hearted.

But don’t worry, he won’t be off our TV screens for too long.

We hear the hunky actor has scored himself a leading role in Nine’s popular historical drama Love Child.

Earlier this year, Lincoln revealed he would leave his bad-boy surf gang image behind when the time was right.

“Right now, I’m very happy with the show, but, with any storyline, when the time is right it’s better to go, rather than keeping something going when it’s not working,” he told TV Week.

“The Braxton storyline has served the show well,” he added.

Lincoln now joins a long list of Home & Away departures, including Rhiannon Fish, Charles Cottier, Samara Weaving and Dan Ewing, who have all left the show  to pursue acting careers overseas.
