Anja Nissen wins The Voice Australia

Pop diva Anja Nissen has won The Voice Australia 2014.

The 18-year-old high school graduate from Winmalee, NSW, took out Channel Nine’s reality singing competition after a string of powerhouse performances.

Coached by international singer-songwriter Will.i.am, the blonde beauty wowed the live audience with her version of David Guetta’s ‘When Love Takes Over’ during tonight’s epic grand finale.

“Fergie, Gaga Britney, Miley…Anja is right there with them all,” a proud Will said.

“I believe Anja’s not just an Australian talent. She could go all around the Globe.

“She’s like the real deal.”

The superstar mentor later went on to offer the stunning teen a record deal with his label.

Meanwhile, 24-year-old classically trained Jackson Thomas was runner-up, with 29-year-old soul singer and drummer Johnny Rollins coming in third.
