White wine vinegar

Question:
Can you substitute something else for white wine vinegar and rice wine vinegar? Will normal vinegar have the same effect?

Answer:
Yes, you can substitute white wine vinegar with either white vinegar or cider vinegar. Rice wine vinegar has a milder and sweeter taste which is slightly less acidic than white vinegar. Try diluting white vinegar and stirring a little sugar into it before using.
