Cheese & bacon puffs
INGREDIENTS

2 cups grated tasty cheese
1 cup self-raising flour, sifted
3 rashers rindless bacon,
finely chopped
1/2 red capsicum, seeded,
finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to moderate, 180 degrees celcuis. Lightly grease and line 2 oven trays with baking paper.

  2. In a bowl, combine cheese, flour, bacon, capsicum and onion.

  3. In a jug, whisk together milk, egg and mustard. Season to taste.

  4. Make a well in the centre

  5. of dry ingredients. Add milk mixture, stirring until combined.

  6. Drop tablespoons of mixture onto prepared trays. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden. Serve warm.
