Fifi Box slams company over diet pill claims

Radio star Fifi Box has slammed a weight-loss company that promotes diet pills for illegally using an image of her to endorse their product.

Speaking on her afternoon radio show Fox FM’s Fifi & Dave, the 37-year-old mother-of-one slammed the company, which she declined to name, saying she would never use their “disgusting” diet pills.

“I don’t promote diet pills. I think they’re disgusting. I’m so inherently against what they represent. It’s so infuriating to me that a company are blatantly illegally using my image and one of the photos they use is one they’ve grabbed of me with Trixie,” she said.

Fifi learned of the unauthorised promotion after her fans began contacting her on Twitter and Facebook about the social media posts that endorse the products.

“I’m being smashed at the moment on Facebook and people may have seen this – it may have popped up in their newsfeeds,” she said.

While Fifi did lose more than 15kg after the birth of her daughter Trixie Belle, the New Atkins nutritional approach is to thank for her slimdown.

Fifi says her determination to stick to her diet plan and kick her sugar habit “once and for all” has helped her feel the best she’s ever felt.

“I’ve never felt more confident in my body,” she toldWoman’s Daylast month.

“I feel better than I’ve ever felt before in my life.”
