World’s most unusual destinations for love

Think “romance” and what springs to mind? A sunset over the Eiffel Tower? Weaving through Venetian canals? While both equally beautiful, some couples want a romantic destination with a twist. If you’re tired of the same old places and want a unique experience, check out these odd spots for romance instead.

Nestled among towering sand dunes and sparse desert sits the beautiful Huacachina Oasis resort. The Peruvian legend of the lake is almost as beautiful as the setting itself, with locals believing the lagoon transformed from a small pool after a beautiful princess was disturbed bathing there.

Want to join the mile high club but not so keen on a plane’s cramped bathroom? A mile high hot air balloon ride may be the answer!
