Body of missing toddler Sam Trott found in lake

The body of missing WA toddler Sam Trott has been found in a lake in Landsdale.

The two-and-a-half year-old was last seen at about 10.30am yesterday morning, when he wandered out the front door of the family home after it was left open by tradesmen who were at the residence installing mirrors.

Police were quick to launch an appeal for anyone who may have any information about the missing toddler, who had autism, as they have combed surrounding streets, parks on bushland on foot and horseback.
