A New Zealand woman living in Sydney’s east was arrested in Bali last week, accused of having cannabis and MDMA in her Kuta hotel room.
Police allege they found a cigarette of hashish in her handbag, as well as 132g of MDMA and 27 grams of hashish inside the villa in North Kuta.
Ms Ormby has reportedly denied any knowledge of the drugs allegedly found at her villa.

Police have not yet disclosed what charges she faces, but the maximum sentence in Indonesia for possession of Group 1 drugs – which covers both cannabis and MDMA – can be life imprisonment.
Ms Orsmby’s lawyer Ary Soenardi released a statement describing his client as an unemployed backpacker living in Australia. Her address is listed as Paddington, Sydney.
Mr Soenardi said Ms Ormsby arrived at her villa at 8am on February 12 to collect her laptop and towel and found that police had been sent there via a tip, according to News Ltd.
She was searched and arrested.
Convicted Australian drug smuggler Schapelle Corby was released just days earlier from Kerobokan Prison in Bali for possession of over 4 kilograms of marijuana. She received a 20-year sentence and served just under half of that prison term.
