Sydney Swans star Jude Bolton’s baby joy!

He may be one the toughest players the game has ever seen but when it comes to family, Sydney Swans star Jude Bolton can’t get enough of his gorgeous girls.

The retired AFL player and his stunning wife Lynette recently welcomed their second child into the world.

And despite his strong and muscular physique, the 34-year-old footy legend is a big softie when it comes to his adorable daughters, Siarra, 2, and 11-day-old daughter, Piper.

“He’s very hands-on,” says Lynette.

“He’s a softie. He’s warm and caring and he loves his girls.

“He’ll get up with me in the middle of the night and make me a cup of tea. And he gets nappy duty. And burping duty. And bathing duty!”

Meanwhile, Jude says welcoming his precious girls into the world was a really special moment in his life.

“The birth of your child is just pure joy. The experience of being there for the childbirth, it’s a warts-and-all experience but I was in awe of my beautiful wife.

“It’s so special to have two little girls.”

Since hanging up his boots, football is still very much a part of Bolton family life.

“When you stop playing, after a few months your body starts to feel better and it starts to heal and you think, I could’ve been out there! But I’m well aware this is a game for fast athletes and I’m not one of them anymore. I was never one of those!”

Clearly loving fatherhood, when asked whether he’d like a son to pass on some of his footy skills, he said: “I’d rather be a dad than a footy coach. I’ve got four amazing nephews, so I’m fine.”
