They walked down the aisle together as flower girl and page boy, 20 years later they got married!
Very few people can say they met their soul mate when they were just three-years-old. But for Brittney and Briggs Fussy, their love story has been 20 years in the making!
The young couple met all the way back in 1995. The then three-year-olds were the flower girl and ring bearer at the wedding of Briggs’ godmother.
Like Briggs, Brittney didn’t remember much of the day except for her partner’s unique name.
The two met again almost 15 years later when Briggs transferred to Brittney’s high school in the ninth grade. Like something out of a movie, it was only when the teacher said Briggs’ name that Brittney realised they may have met before.
The two didn’t become a couple until their senior year and were shortly separated as they went to college in different cities.
But, true love prevailed and three years later, Briggs returned to their home town of Minnesota to propose.
Although it took them a while to make it official, Briggs says he always knew she was the one.
“I knew I was going to marry her!” He told Fox News.
Brittney on the other hand, who grew up with the pair’s flower girl and page boy picture on the walls of her home, believes their union was ‘fate.
Thankfully their second trip down the aisle was a lot more memorable!
